Hostinger is where most people start their first website, and the stated reason is obvious: a monthly price lower than a sandwich. The unstated reason is that this price is not what you pay once the first term ends.
This is a review of the whole company: nine plans across three families, each with its own detailed review linked from here. And the numbers below are not typed into the text — they are read from our price table the moment you open the page.
One-line verdict: the best entry point in the market on price, provided you buy the longest term you can live with and know the renewal figure on day one.

The three families, and when to pick each
1) Shared hosting — for starting out
Two plans: Premium and Unlimited.
Roughly one dollar separates them, and it buys three things — the important one being daily backups. If your site takes orders or signups, do not deliberate: the difference between losing one day and losing six is not worth a dollar. The detail is in the Unlimited review.
2) Cloud hosting — once shared is not enough
Three plans: Cloud Startup, Professional and Enterprise.

The idea across the family: resources reserved for you without administering a server. Right for anyone whose site is slow despite optimisation; wrong for anyone who has not yet tried image compression and caching.
3) KVM servers — if you know Linux
Four servers, from KVM 1 to KVM 8.
And here is a contradiction worth noticing: KVM 4 at EGP 589 gives you more memory than Cloud Professional at EGP 816. The difference is that you administer the server yourself — so if you know Linux the servers are clearly better value, and if you do not, do not buy one however tempting it looks.
The price the advert does not show
This is the section the whole review exists for. Take Premium:

The list price is EGP 319/mo, the promo EGP 79, and the renewal EGP 239 — that is 3.0× what you pay today, or EGP 2,868 a year.
Compare: four full years for EGP 3,792, then a single year after that for EGP 2,868. Year five alone nearly equals years one through four combined.
This is not a Hostinger trick — it is how the whole industry prices, and you will find it at Namecheap and Hosting.com too. But knowing it before you pay changes three decisions:
- Buy the longest term you can live with — the gap between one year and four is large per month
- Put a calendar reminder a month before renewal — that is when you negotiate or move
- Cost it over five years, not one — rankings shuffle at that horizon
Note that the servers are kinder here: KVM 2 renews at only 1.5× against 2.5× for Unlimited.
Where Hostinger wins
Allowance per dollar. Three sites in the cheapest serious tier is a strong offer. Anyone selling you one site at the same price is selling you less.
hPanel. Far simpler than traditional cPanel if you have never run a server: installing WordPress, pointing a domain, issuing SSL — a few clicks each.
The range of the ladder. You start at EGP 79 and finish at a 32 GB server without changing provider or learning a new panel.
Free migration. Moving from another host costs nothing, which removes the biggest obstacle to switching.
Where it falls short
The steepest renewal on our list. 2.5× on Unlimited is a large multiple by any standard.
Weekly backups on the cheapest plan. Premium backs up weekly, a real risk for any site holding visitor data.
No cPanel. If you are used to it, or manage client sites that expect it, hPanel is something new to learn. Hosting.com gives you cPanel.
"Unlimited" is not unlimited. Storage caps at 50 GB, which is the real ceiling, and the uncapped sites all share the same resources.

Verdict
Hostinger earns its position: nobody gives you this much for this little in the early years, and the ladder runs from a blog to a 32 GB server without changing provider. Its one serious flaw is that the advertised number is not the permanent bill — a flaw whose sting disappears entirely if you know it before you pay.
Start with Unlimited if your site holds data, Premium if it is a quiet blog, and KVM 2 if you are a developer.
