Max is for people running many sites: 50 websites, 100 GB NVMe, the highest CPU and RAM of their shared plans, 40 mailboxes and priority support. It renews at $27.99/mo, so check the renewal before you buy.
Starter — five sites and daily backups
$1.49/mo buys 5 websites, 15 GB of NVMe storage, free domain registration, daily backups and free SSL. It also includes malware detection and removal, free managed migration, and an AI website builder for WordPress. Email and security are included.
For comparison: Hostinger Premium at $1.99 gives you three sites, and Namecheap Stellar at $2.28 also gives three. So Starter gives you more sites than either, plus stated daily backups on the cheapest plan.
So where is the catch? In renewal. Starter renews at $13.99/mo when the term ends. The provider sells one, two and three years: one year at $1.49/mo, and two or three years at $2.49/mo. The longer term costs a little more per month, but it pushes the renewal price back by two years.
Pro — for more sites and frequent changes
$3.49/mo, and their site marks it "Most Popular". It has everything in Starter, plus:
- 10 websites instead of 5
- 50 GB NVMe instead of 15
- more CPU and RAM
- staging sites and preview URLs
- Node.js support
Staging is the practical addition. You test an update on a copy of your site before visitors see it. If you change your site often or manage client sites, that is the reason to upgrade. If you run one or two sites without big changes, Starter is enough.
Cloud 4GB — stated resources
$40/mo for 2 CPU cores, 4 GB of RAM and 100 GB of NVMe storage.
Compare it honestly: Hostinger Cloud Startup at $7.99 is cheaper, and KVM 2 at $8.79 gives you 8 GB of RAM. So what you are buying here is not the cheapest memory — it is memory with cPanel and no server administration, and that combination is not easy to find.
Where it wins
cPanel. This is its first advantage by a distance. Anyone who has run a site on cPanel knows every button in it, and anyone managing client sites finds clients asking for it by name. Hostinger gives you hPanel — simpler for a beginner, foreign to a professional.
Five sites and daily backups on the cheapest plan. Hostinger Premium and Namecheap Stellar give you three sites each.
Live support. Support never shows up in a comparison table, but it shows up on the worst night your site has.
Free migration. As with most competitors, but still an obstacle removed.
Where it falls short
High renewal. Starter renews at $13.99/mo. That is the industry model, as explained in the Hostinger review. On a one-year term it reaches you after a year, so compare the first payment for each term in the cost calculator before you pay.
It is not the cheapest. If price is your only criterion, Namecheap starts at $2.28 and Hostinger at $1.99.

Hosting.com does not compete on price and does not try to. What it sells is familiarity: a panel you already know, support that answers, and five sites with daily backups on the cheapest plan. If that is worth the price difference to you, it is a good deal. Start at Starter, and move to Pro if you need more than five sites or staging. Watch the renewal price after the first year.
