Hosting.com is a US provider with three plans in our table: two shared and one cloud. It is not the cheapest on our list — Namecheap and Hostinger both undercut it — but it offers something the first one does not: cPanel.
One-line verdict: the choice for people who know cPanel and want it, and who value live support above a few dollars.

Starter — one site, and only one
EGP 178/mo buys one website, unmetered SSD storage, free SSL and free migration.
The real constraint is that one site. For comparison: Hostinger Premium at EGP 79 gives you three, and Namecheap Stellar at EGP 116 also gives three. If count matters to you, this is not the best deal on the page.
But "unmetered storage" is a genuine advantage if you upload a lot of images or files to a single site — Hostinger caps you at 20 GB on its equivalent tier.
Plus — the sensible one
EGP 280/mo: unlimited sites, a free domain for a year, daily backups, and 24/7 live support.
Daily backups is the point we repeat in every review: the difference between losing one day and losing a week is not measured in dollars. Starter does not state a backup schedule at all.
Cloud Business — stated resources
EGP 765/mo for 4 GB of RAM, NVMe storage and automatic load balancing.
Compare it honestly: Hostinger Cloud Startup at EGP 319 is cheaper, and KVM 2 at EGP 429 gives you 8 GB of RAM. So what you are buying here is not the cheapest memory — it is memory with cPanel and no server administration, and that combination is not easy to find.
Where it wins
cPanel. This is its first advantage by a distance. Anyone who has run a site on cPanel knows every button in it, and anyone managing client sites finds clients asking for it by name. Hostinger gives you hPanel — simpler for a beginner, foreign to a professional.
Unmetered storage on shared. Even on the cheapest plan. That removes a ceiling many people hit after two years.
24/7 live support. Stated explicitly on Plus. Support never shows up in a comparison table, but it shows up on the worst night your site has.
Free migration. As with most competitors, but still an obstacle removed.
Where it falls short
One site on the cheapest plan. The weakest point of the offer. Both cheaper rivals give you three.
The renewal price is not documented in our table yet. The dash means we have not verified it, not that it does not exist. Assume it is higher — that is the industry model, as explained in the Hostinger review — and check it at checkout before you pay.
It is not the cheapest. If price is your only criterion, Namecheap starts at EGP 116 and Hostinger at EGP 79.
No KVM servers. If you want root access it is not here — see Hostinger's servers or Namecheap.
Is it right for you?
Yes, if you:
- know cPanel and want to stay on it without learning a new panel
- manage client sites where clients ask for cPanel by name
- upload heavy content to a single site and need storage without a ceiling
- value live support more than a two-dollar difference
No, if you:
- are hunting the lowest price — Namecheap is cheaper
- want several sites on the cheapest plan — Hostinger
- need a server with root access — it is not offered

Verdict
Hosting.com does not compete on price and does not try to. What it sells is familiarity: a panel you already know, support that answers, and storage you do not have to count. If those three are worth the couple of dollars to you, it is a good deal — and start at Plus rather than Starter, because daily backups and unlimited sites are worth the gap.
If price alone is your criterion, you are honestly in the wrong place: Hostinger and Namecheap are both cheaper, and both are reviewed here.
