Cloud Professional sits in the middle of the cloud family, and its spec sheet is the most misread of any Hostinger plan. The number that matters is not the storage or the cores — it is 200 PHP workers, and most buyers do not know what that means.
One-line verdict: the plan for busy WordPress shops, not the plan for "I want something stronger".

What is a "PHP worker", and why is it the number here?
Picture a restaurant. Cores and RAM are the size of the kitchen; PHP workers are the cooks. Every visitor requesting a dynamic page — a cart, a login, a search — occupies one cook until their order is done. If a request arrives while every cook is busy, it queues, and the visitor watches a spinner.
Cached static pages do not occupy a cook at all; the waiter hands those over directly. Which is why:
- a well-cached blog can serve thousands of visitors on ten workers
- a WooCommerce shop spends a worker on every add-to-cart, every checkout step, every product search
200 workers is a large number by managed-hosting standards. If you run a shop that sees dozens of simultaneous buyers, that is the number you are buying.
Rule of thumb: if your pages are cacheable, you do not need many workers. If they are personal to each visitor — cart, account, dashboard — you do.

The real difference is that Professional states its resources: five cores, six gigabytes, two hundred workers. That transparency is itself a feature — you know what you bought and you can measure it.
Where it wins
Built for concurrency. It is not faster for one visitor; it is steadier with a hundred at once. That distinction is frequently confused and genuinely matters.
200 GB of NVMe. A large catalogue with its imagery, or years of archive, or several client shops.
No server administration. All of this while still inside a managed panel.
Where it falls short

Professional is the right plan for a specific case: a shop or membership site with genuine concurrent traffic, run by someone who does not want to touch a server. Outside that case it turns expensive — either because your site does not need two hundred workers, or because you could run a server that gives you more for less. Work out which of the two you are before spending $767.52.
