Short answer: Hostinger is cheaper in Egypt, on entry and on renewal both. And Flashcloud sells something Hostinger does not sell at any price: a human team that builds your website, a free domain for as long as you stay, and a prorated refund at any time. So this is not a comparison between cheap and expensive — it is between saving your money and saving your time.
The table first
Both columns are one-year terms, so the ground is level:
| Hostinger Single | Hostinger Premium | Flashcloud Start | Flashcloud Grow | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | EGP 89 | $3.99 | $2.79 | $3.79 |
| Renewal | EGP 159 | $10.99 | $9.99 | $11.99 |
| Renewal multiple | 1.8× | 2.8× | 3.6× | 3.2× |
| Websites | one | 3 | one | unlimited |
| First-year total | EGP 1,068 | $47.88 | $33.48 | $45.48 |
Prices on this page are read from our table the moment you open it, not typed into the text. Check the comparison page for the latest figures before buying.
The number that settles it
Look at the renewal-multiple row. That is the real difference between the two, and it appears in no advertisement.
The first-year price is a promotion at both companies. But when the promotion ends:
- Hostinger raises the bill to under double.
- Flashcloud raises it to more than triple.
The result is that Flashcloud's cheapest plan renews above what Hostinger's middle plan renews at. If you intend to stay two or three years, budget on the renewal price, not the entry price — the rule is explained in hosting renewal prices.
One point in Flashcloud's favour here: it states the renewal price on its own page before you buy, and does not climb it year after year. The number is high but it is visible and fixed — better than a low number that creeps at every renewal.
Why Hostinger is cheaper in Egypt specifically
Because it actually prices Egypt in Egyptian pounds rather than converting from dollars. Flashcloud's prices in our table are converted from USD at the exchange rate, so they move with the dollar — and they move against you.
That is not a fault of Flashcloud's; most companies do the same, and we covered it in the cheapest hosting in Egypt. But it is a real difference an Egyptian budget feels.
Choose Hostinger if
You will build the site yourself. This is the first and biggest condition. The money you save is real, and the work you pay instead is yours.
You want a long upgrade ladder. Nine plans from shared up to KVM servers, so you grow inside one company without moving a site.
You are planning four years ahead. The 48-month term drops the price to EGP 39/mo — the cheapest point in our whole table.
Price matters to you more than time does. Which is true for most people starting out.
Choose Flashcloud if
You do not want to build the website. That is the whole point. A human team builds a site for you inside the subscription — not a template, not an AI generator. Put any reasonable value on your own hours and the gap in the bill gets small.
The domain matters to you long term. Hostinger's free domain covers the first year; Flashcloud's is free for as long as you stay. Domain renewal alone runs close to EGP 89/mo spread over a year.
You want an open exit. Hostinger's guarantee is thirty days; Flashcloud refunds prorated at any time — a year in, if you like.
You manage client sites. Grow gives you unlimited websites with SSH and WP-CLI at $3.79/mo, which is nothing if you are billing a client for it.
What does not separate them
So you do not buy an illusion: both give you a free SSL certificate, an easy control panel, backups, and a free site migration. These are baseline now, not features — see what an SSL certificate is and website backups.
And neither has a data centre in Egypt or near it. You will not notice the latency difference between them; what your visitor notices is your own site's speed, not where the server sits.
The verdict
| If you… | Choose |
|---|---|
| Build it yourself and count every pound | Hostinger |
| Want a finished site without building it | Flashcloud |
| Are planning three years or more | Hostinger — renewal settles it |
| Manage several client sites | Flashcloud Grow — unlimited sites |
| Want a free domain beyond year one | Flashcloud |
| Expect to move to a private server later | Hostinger — the ladder is longer |
If you build sites for clients the maths is different for you, and we worked it out on the agencies page.
