The cheapest VPS we track is Hostinger's KVM 1 at EGP 319 a month on a 24-month term, renewing at EGP 529. That second number is the one your decision should rest on, not the first.
Every price on this page is read from our table the moment you open it. If a provider changes its pricing today, the number here changes with it.
The table first
| Server | Promo / month | Renewal | Term | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KVM 1 — Hostinger | EGP 319 | EGP 529 | 24 mo | Offer |
| KVM 2 — Hostinger | EGP 429 | EGP 639 | 24 mo | Offer |
| KVM 4 — Hostinger | EGP 589 | EGP 1,279 | 24 mo | Offer |
| Pulsar VPS — Namecheap | EGP 351 | EGP 453 | 12 mo | Offer |
| VPS S — Contabo | EGP 281 | — | 12 mo | Offer |
A dash means the provider does not publish that figure, or we have not verified it yet — we do not invent numbers.

"Cheap" is three numbers, not one
This is the mistake most buyers pay for:
1. The promo price. The big number on the sales page. Charged once, upfront, for the whole term.
2. The renewal price. What you pay after the term ends — always higher, sometimes double. A server at EGP 319 renews at EGP 529 — that is 1.7× the promo price.
3. The committed term. 24 months means you pay the whole amount today. Do the arithmetic: monthly price × months = EGP 7,656 in one charge.
We work through this in hosting contract terms — read it before you buy, not after.
Prices on this page are read from our table the moment you open it, not typed into the text. Check the comparison page for the latest figures before buying.
When cheap turns expensive
A bargain server can cost more than it saved. Watch for these:
No control panel included. Some providers sell cPanel as a monthly add-on close to the price of the server itself. Ask first — and understand what a panel actually does before deciding you need one.
Paid backups. A server without backups is a risk, not a saving. Ask: are backups included? How many? How far back?
Support that stops at the OS. Most unmanaged VPS plans support the server, not what runs on it. Breakage in your configuration is not theirs.
"Burstable" resources. If the technology is not KVM, resources can be pulled back under load — exactly when you need them. We explain the difference in what is a VPS.
A distant data centre. A server in the US for Gulf visitors adds latency no CPU can fix. See hosting and site speed.
Picking a size
The rule: start small, scale on numbers rather than forecasts. Upgrading at most providers does not require migrating the site.
| If you are | Start with | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| Trying a VPS for the first time | KVM 1 | EGP 319 |
| Hosting several sites or a live store | KVM 2 | EGP 429 |
| Running a heavier application | KVM 4 | EGP 589 |
| Carrying sustained heavy load | KVM 8 | EGP 1,169 |
Do you need a VPS at all?
Worth pausing on. Most people searching for a "cheap VPS" are really searching for a faster site — and those are not the same thing.
If your site works, no resource-limit email has arrived, and you need no forbidden software, a shared plan at EGP 79 a month is cheaper and lighter. We compare both cases in shared hosting vs VPS.
And if you want the power without the admin duty, cloud is the middle ground: from EGP 319 a month — Cloud Startup review.
Checklist before paying
- [ ] I know the renewal price, not just the promo
- [ ] I know the full amount charged today
- [ ] The technology is KVM, not burstable
- [ ] Backups are included, or I have priced them
- [ ] A control panel is included, or I do not need one
- [ ] The data centre is near my visitors
- [ ] I know the refund window if it does not suit me
The short answer
For most people: KVM 1 at EGP 319 a month is a reasonable entry point, and its EGP 529 renewal stays within reason. See the offer
For a store or several sites: KVM 2 at EGP 429 is better value for the difference. See it
And if you have not hit the shared ceiling: do not buy a server. Keep the money until your site asks for it.
